The Tick-Tock

Start your journey with this move: Rest one end of the baton on the ground or a table. Place one control handle a few inches below the top leather tassel. Lock your wrists, leave your elbows flexible and pull upward releasing the baton from one handle and catching it with the other in a back and forth manner (sort of like a pendulum). As you get comfortable with the rhythm and the feel of Zen Lunastix, lift the baton off the ground, catching and releasing between control handles.
You feel balanced and centered.

The Spin

While you're doing the Tic-Toc flip the baton over and follow it with the control handle, and catch the baton just off center. Now return to the basic Tic-Toc. This flip over will lead you into the spin as you repeat this technique. How many spins can you do in a row?

Helicopter

Pull a little with one hand and push a little with the other while you Tic-Toc. The baton should start to spin horizontally like a chopper's propeller. Combining the Helicopter and the Spin are the magic behind more advanced moves.

Spin-Toss

From the Helicopter toss the baton straight up so it has some hang-time in mid-air in front of your face. Remember to toss from the center and catch from the center. The fluidity of your upper body enhances performance.
